I was on the side of where they were performing which meant that when the soloists performed, I didn’t have the greatest view for part of their show, but the position was great overall. Next week, weather permitting, I’m going to get more footage from a better angle for the soloists.

September 2016 – This must experience hour-long, live-action military pageant features Soldiers from The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own”. Experience a glimpse into American history through performances by The U.S. Army Blues, vocalists from The U.S. Army Band Downrange and U.S. Army Band Voices, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, The U.S. Army Drill Team, a cannon salute, and recognition of patriots.

Twilight Tattoo 2016 Promo

The 2016 Twilight Tattoo season starts this week! Our first show of the season is this Wednesday, May 4th, on Summerall Field. Pre-show kicks off at 6:30pm and the performance begins at 7:00pm. All shows are FREE and open to the public.

Twilight Tattoo Auditions

Twilight Tattoo is an hour-long, live-action military pageant featuring Soldiers from The 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard). In this video Soldiers audition for speaking roles to see if they have what it takes to earn a prized spot to become one of the voices that illustrates our Army’s history. Our first performance will be May 4, 2016 on Summerall Field, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va. It’s free and open to the public, preshow starts at 6:30 pm with the performance starting at 7 pm.
