A pimple, zit or spot is a kind of comedo and one of the many results of excess oil getting trapped in the pores. Some of the varieties are pustules or papules. Pimples can be treated by various acne medications prescribed by a physician, or purchased at a pharmacy with a wide variety of treatments.

A pimple is a small pustule or papule. Pimples are small skin lesions or inflammations of the skin – they are sebaceous glands (oil glands) which are infected with bacteria, swell up, and then fill up with pus.

Pimples are also known as spots or zits .

Zits is a comic strip written by cartoonist Jerry Scott and illustrated by Jim Borgman about the life of Jeremy Duncan, a 16-year-old high school sophomore (previously a 15-year-old for the life of the comic)

Cysts are closed capsule or sac-like structures, typically filled with liquid, semisolid or gaseous material – very much like a blister.

Cysts occur within tissue, and can affect any part of the body. They vary in size from microscopic to the size of some team-sport balls – large cysts can displace internal organs.

Pimple Popping Methods-

1)Wield the right weapon. In most drugstore beauty aisles, you can find the weapon of choice for getting rid of pimple goo: a comedone extractor. To pop your pimple with the extractor, roll it across the pimple while pressing firmly.

2) Go low-tech. Use two cotton swabs instead of your fingers. Wait for the pimple to come to a head, then squeeze with the cotton swabs. Stop squeezing when you see blood and then spot-treat the pimple by applying a tiny bit of hydrocortisone. Make sure you apply it only on the zit.

3) Visit the doctor. Your other option is to let a professional do the popping for you. Having your pimples squished and drained in the doctor’s office is sometimes called “acne surgery.” Your dermatologist may extract your whiteheads and blackheads or — if you have cysts — drain them. Phototherapy (lasers and special lights) can also be used to treat your acne. Your doctor can even inject your pimple with a steroid that should make it go away within a day.

During the early stages of a tattoo infection, you may notice that the tattoo may become discolored. This is the first sign that something is wrong. While color ink may fade if proper aftercare is not followed such as washing with soap too soon or exposing the ink to the sun within the first 8 weeks, it should not discolor. Discoloration, in this regard means that green ink will turn to yellow ink or brownish in color.

Another common form of a tattoo infection is when the skin surrounding the tattoo becomes coarse and brittle. You may feel the area tighten up and resemble a leathery like surface. This is a first sure-tell sign that the skin is not retaining moisture at all. When the skin is too dry, it can reject the ink and your body will attempt to fight off and contain what it thinks is a foreign object under the skin.

We are not doctors. Don’t use us for medical advice. Seek a REAL doctor. We are as much a doctor as those folks at General Hospital.

Try some Biore Strips: https://www.amazon.com/Biore-Deep-Cleansing-Strips-Count/dp/B006RFZ66K/ref=as_sl_pc_ss_til?tag=wrestling911c-20

We may sample other videos in our production. Remember that copyright law allows you to use between 30 seconds and 2 minutes of other videos, depending on the purpose. It is how shows like the nightly news, Tosh.0 and the Soup stay in business. Don’t complain about it. We may also use longer clips if we have rights to the videos.

Also note that we sometimes move videos from one of our other channels to this one. We really hate it when people complain that we “stole a video” that we posted on a previous channel.

What are cysts?
Cysts are noncancerous, closed pockets of tissue that can be filled with fluid, pus, or other material.

Cysts are common on the skin and can appear anywhere. They feel like large peas under the surface of the skin. Cysts can develop as a result of infection, clogging of sebaceous glands (oil glands), or around foreign bodies, such as earrings.
