Rihanna decided to get a traditional Maori tattoo to commemorate her trip to New Zealand as part of her “Diamonds” world tour.
Unlike modern tattoos which are applied by a needle, this type is applied by a chisel, ink pigment and a mallet.
Tattoos of feathers are associated with the concept of freedom. Feathers belong to birds and these are particularly perceived as free animals because of their ability to fly.

I got asked a few times about what is considered copying and what is just taking inspiration. Obviously we all want to create original artwork but even the best will take inspiration from other places and use reference, but they wont rip other people off without crediting them. This is basically a guide to what I think is too far when using someone elses artwork for inspiration and how to use reference and make compositions that are totally original.

Please visit http://www.finetouchdermatology.com. For more information on Dr. Umar’s laser tattoo removal [http://www.finetouchdermatology.com/los-angeles-laser-tattoo-removal] procedure,
The patient in this video had the word “Faith” tattooed on her arm in blue and black ink. She decided that she no longer wanted it. As you can see in the video she is excited that she can wear sleeveless shirts to work and no longer has to hide her arm.
Dr. Umar used the Spectra VRMIII laser. This is a system which uses a 1064nm wavelength which is able to reach deeper layers of the skin. It is not easily absorbed by melanin. So it offers a much higher degree of safety for all skin tones, since overheating and subsequent scarring is not an issue.
The patient only needed three treatments to have her tattoo completely removed.
After the first session, the treated area was very red. There is usually crusting on the skin, which sloughs off within 2 weeks.
After the second session, the tattoo had faded considerably, but the design was still visible.
After the third session, the tattoo was completely gone.
The patient also had a very small tattoo on her hand. This only required one session for complete removal.
Dr. Umar explains that professional tattoos are difficult to remove because they are deeply established in lower layers of the skin. Lasers are considered to be ideal for tattoo removal because they actually break up the pigment. Several weeks are required for the pigment to be eliminated by the body’s natural system. This is why individual sessions need to be scheduled around 3-8 weeks apart.
Overall, there was no pain or discomfort during and after the procedure. Video Rating: / 5
